PAWNEE BRAVE a.k.a. "Izzy" is a true black, APHA/PtHA, 1996 tobiano stallion.  He stands 15.3 hands and weighs in at about 1200 lbs.

His PEDIGREE features a quality mix of halter, race, and performance champions.  His sire, Skip N To The Drum, (1996 CA State Halter Champion, ROM Halter) is by Obsesed To Impress, (World Halter Champion, Leading Halter Sire) and out of Dixie Valentine (Reserve National Champion Trail, Superior Trail, Superior Western Pleasure by Dixie's War Drum).  His dam, Ms Pawnee Sierra, is by High Sierra, (Superior in Racing, linebred Leo) and out of Pawnee Maude (by Doodler, ROM Halter, ROM Hunter Under Saddle, ROM Western Pleasure, linebred Skipper W).

His CONFORMATION is balanced and correct.  He has a beautiful head and neck, kind eye, nice hip, good bone, and strong healthy feet.  He is a pretty mover and quite athletic, and so are his babies.

His DISPOSITION is wonderful.  He is sweet and gentle, smart and willing, and overall easy to work with, and so are his babies.

He is HOMOZYGOUS FOR THE TOBIANO PATTERN.  UC Davis tested, he is homozygous for tobiano (BBSS).

He is HOMOZYGOUS FOR BLACK FACTOR.  UC Davis tested, he is homozygous for black pigment (EE).  He cannot sire red foals regardless of the color of the mare.  The basic color of the foal will be black, brown, or bay, but depending on other genes (passed on by the mare) may be buckskin, grulla, or gray.

He is OLWS NEGATIVE.  UC Davis tested, he cannot sire a lethal white foal.

He is HYPP N/N.  UC Davis tested, he does not possess the disease causing HYPP gene.

He is SIRING WINNERS in Halter, Color Halter, Showmanship at Halter, In-Hand Trail, Longe Line, Hunt Seat Equitation, Hunter Hack, Working Hunter, Jumping, Hunter Under Saddle, Team Penning, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure, and Trail....and those are just the ones that I know about!  I have heard (and it is no surprise) that some of Izzy's babies are also doing well in barrel racing, roping, reining, and working cow horse!

He is definitely a sire of beautiful, good minded, athletic, and versatile horses that are succeeding in many different events.  The fact that they all have color is just a bonus!
